Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Clara Helen Bailey Hippe, 89, loving wife for 65 years to B. R. Hippe, passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, to be with Jesus on Friday, July 4, 2014. Born in Frankfort, Ky. May 1, 1925, daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Alice Bailey. Enjoying life to the fullest, Helen never grew old cherishing her family, friends, Senior Citizens Center, her home of 70+ years on the family farm established by Mr. Hippe's parents, the late James Franklin and Annie Dora Hackney Hippe. She is survived by three daughters, Gloria (Jim) Donnell, Vivian Hippe (Paul Gonnelli), and Mary (Steve) McDaniel; a son, Gary (Cheryl) Hippe; one brother in law, Raymond Hippe and lifelong family friend Jean Clark; five grandchildren, Michele (Steve) Menshouse, Justice (Heather) Webber, Sherman (Mary) Green, Nicole Webber (Eric Caudle), and Kris McDaniel (Debbie); seven great-grandchildren, Daniel Goodrich (Stephanie) , Austin Hackney, Riley Bailey Green, Laila Anna McDaniel, and Brogan Webber. Step great grandchildren Madison, Kennedy, Lensey, Layne, Austin, Baiey and Tate. She was preceded in death by a son, David Frank Hippe, three granddaughters, Deidre Smither, Dawn and Jocelyn Hippe; one sister Vena Hawkins, two brothers Neville and Jimmy Bailey. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Monday July 7 11:00 a.m. at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Rev. Jeff Douglas officiating. Visitation Sunday, July 6 from 3 to 6. Burial Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers Justice Webber, Sherman Green, Kris McDaniel, Jim Donnell, Steve McDaniel, Paul Gonnelli and Steve Menshouse. Donations suggested to Millville Baptist Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
