Charles "Eddie" Edward McCullough

Charles Edward “Eddie” McCullough 79, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2019. He was employed at Mead Paper and retired after 40 years of service. Eddie was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church since 1969. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed playing the guitar. Eddie was also a talented woodworker. He was a loving and devoted father, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Grace McCullough, sister, Margaret Sorah; infant sister, Annis McCullough. Survivors include the mother of his children, Frances; daughter, Dr. Tonjua McCullough; sons, Tim McCullough and wife Rachael and Theron McCullough and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Jonathan McCullough, Brittany McCullough, Jake McCullough, and Aria McCullough; sister, Zula McCullough; brother, Gale McCullough; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Tabernacle Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow with Dr. Cecil Sturgill officiating. Graveside services will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport is serving the McCullough family.
