Stamping Ground David Ray Woodrum, 59, husband of Carolyn Woodrum, died Thursday at Georgetown Community Hospital. Mr. Woodrum was born in Casey County to Geraldine Wethington Woodrum, of Midway, and the late Melvin Woodrum. He was a stock clerk at Kroger. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Woodrum, of Versailles; his brothers and sisters, Rita Allen, of Frankfort, Freda Whitaker, of Versailles, Monica Keeton, of Midway, Marsha Wells, of Waddy, Marie Kirk, of Frankfort, Archie Woodrum, of Harrodsburg, Joe Woodrum, of Lawrenceburg, and Jeff Woodrum, of Midway and Angie Tudor, of Nicholasville; 2 step daughters, Karen Marie Simpson and Christina Gail Eller; 2 step grandchildren, Corey and Christian Simpson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Verlina Montgomery. Funeral Information Services will be 12:00PM, Tuesday, September 2 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, with Reverend Jonathan Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Josh Whitaker, Terry McCleese, William Mays, Archie Woodrum, Joe Woodrum, and Jeff Woodrum. Honorary casketbearer will be Tyler Woodrum. Visitation will be 5PM-8PM Monday at the funeral home.
