David Wayne Arnold

David W. Arnold, 55, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in the arms of his loving family at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and a graduate of Sullivan North High School. He was a member of Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church. David was a kind and wonderful man who gave to everyone he knew. He gave from his heart willingly without expectations from others. David’s sense of humor ensured he never met a stranger. David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and W. Jean Arnold and his brother, Charles “Chuck” Arnold. He is survived by his daughter, Alexis Arnold of Kingsport; sister, Melissa Arnold of Kingsport; nephew, Evan Arnold of Kingsport; niece, Ashlee Arnold of Kingsport; great nieces Charlee and Taylor Arnold of Kingsport and a great nephew, Porter Pratt of Kingsport. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 3pm until 5pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport. A celebration of life service will follow at 5 pm with Pastor Joshua Swanson officiating. Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport is serving the Arnold family.
