Edna Frances Wells Heeren, 94, passed from this world on November 1, 2011. She was born on April 25, 1917 in Loveland, Colo. to William Hicks Wells and Maude Orinda Wimple Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary, Elsie, Dorothy, Rachel, Alice, and Norma, her brother Myron, her husband Julius A. Heeren I, son William J. Phillips (Beth) and daughter Norma Lee Deeds Pennel (Wayne). She is survived by her daughter Aida May Heeren, her son Julius A. Heeren II (Evelyn), stepdaughters Lora Heeren Mackey (Lorin), and Martha Ann Heeren, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no memorial service at this time. Ednas’s remains will be inurned in the Golden Cemetery at a later date. Any memorial donations should be made to the Colorado Historical Society.
