Frankfort, KY Mandy Ellen Peyton, 86, widow of Virgil H. Peyton, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Born on December 9, 1929 in Henry Co. to the late John T. Downey and Eva Jennings Downey. She worked as a Lab Tech. for Environmental Protection Services, and was a member of Holly Hill Church of Christ. Ms. Peyton is survived by her daughters Judy Hensley, Winchester; Priscilla Peyton, Frankfort; her sons Virgil David (Myra) Peyton, Millville; Sherman (Gail) Peyton, Frankfort; her sister Mildred Wainscott, Franklin Co.; her brother Benny Downey, LaGrange; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters Polly Mary Houchin; Carol Hensley; her son James Lee Tingle; son-in-laws Bobby Houchin; and Wilson Hensley. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Monday, January 4, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Ministers Steve Smalls and Bryan Dill. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11am Monday until start of service at the funeral home.
