Lexington, KY Lawrence "Larry" Scott Brooks, 63, died September 7, 2013 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Stuart and Minnie Brooks. He is survived by his son, Clark Stuart Brooks of Lexington, KY; sisters Linda Brooks Lossner, of Jeffersonville, IN and Beverly (Stan) Brooks Brown of LaGrange, KY. He graduated from Mt. Sterling High School where he earned All-State and Central Kentucky Conference football honors.. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He had a lengthy career in Advertising Sales and Marketing, which included The Lexington Herald Leader and Kentucky Press Association. . Funeral Information Private internment will be at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
