He is survived by his wife Glenna (Vanover) Thomas; mother Dorothy (Rust) Thomas; daughter Michelle Stephanie (Richard) Thomas; sons David (Barbara) Colyer, Ray Lee (Ramissa) Thomas and Dewayne Stewart (Patricia Harper) Thomas; brothers Randal Lee (Pam) Thomas and George (Mona) Thomas and grandchildren Kory Colier, Andrew Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Nathan Thomas Emmanie Thomas and Greg Guffy. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Lee Thomas and son Michael S. Thomas. Mike was baptized at Fellowship Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist. He loved camping, fishing, boating and tending a monster camp fire in the great outdoors. He worked hard his entire life in the HVAC business to take care of his family. He loved watching his beloved Kentucky Wildcats on TV, and you better think twice before you interrupted one of his games. Mike was always up for a cut-throat game of poker, or spades where he took no prisoners. His favorite times were spent with his family and grandkids, and his favorite sayings were, "It's 5 o'clock somewhere", and "A card laid, is a card played". Funeral Information Visitation will be 12:30pm-2:30pm, Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with funeral to follow at 2:30pm. Burial will be at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Randy Thomas will be officiating the service.
