Nicholasvile, Kentucky John R. Wilson, 87, died Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born to the late Charles and Sadie Geoghegan Wilson in Cynthiana, KY on July 21st, 1926. John was a veteran of the US Army/Air Force serving in the south pacific during WWII. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Fields Wilson, two sons, Michael Robert (Luanne) Wilson and Joel Dan Wilson, both of Lexington and three grandchildren, J.R, Elizabeth and Benjamin Wilson. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betsy Franklin and Violet Slyder, and two brothers, Chester and Roy Wilson. Funeral Information A memorial service will be Tuesday December 10th, at 2pm at Cynthiana Christian Church. Visitation will be from 1 until the time of service.
