Online Obituaries for Versailles KY Richard "Perk" Perkins, 73, husband of Phyllis Ann Perkins, passed away, Thursday, February 25, 2016. He was born in Versailles, Ky., to the late John Calvin and Mary Lucille Parr Perkins on March 08, 1942. He was retired from IBM and a truck driver for Hammonds Transport, he also worked for Bluegrass Tours Bus Line, and drove a school bus for Woodford Co.. Mr. Perkins was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Lynn (Ken ) Joyce of Versailles; his sons, Brent Tod Perkins of Lexington and Dustin Richard-Tod Perkins of Versailles; his grandchildren , Colin Martin and Lucy Kathleen Slugantz; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Abagail Slugantz. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, February 29, 2016 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, officiated by Rev. Randy Nation. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Serving as casketbearers will be Dustin Perkins, Preston Britton, Billy O'Nan, Austin Burruss, Travis McGruder and Ken Joyce. Honorary casketbearers will be Herbert Reed, Mike Burruss, Donald Rice, and Brent Tod Perkins.
