Raymond Lee Taylor
April 4th, 1968 - August 15th, 2016
Wilmore, KY Raymond Lee Taylor, 48, died Aug. 15, 2016. He is survived by his parents Foister and Carol Taylor; brother Steve (Deanna) Taylor and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles. Raymond was a graduate of Woodford County High School where he played in the school marching band and UK where he studied architecture, archeology, and attended a Pharmaceutical school. He worked at Thompson Hood Veterans Hospital, The University of Kentucky and was a custodian at Clover Bottom Baptist Church where he attended and served at an usher. He had worked extensively as a bartender and server at Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse and DeShas Restaurant. He enjoyed Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Star Wars memorabilia. He loved Astronomy and keeping up with the royal family. He was an excellent baker who was always willing to help with a bake sale or pot luck at church. He was also willing to help out anyone who was in need. He loved people and to travel even as far away as England and Germany where he enjoyed riding trains everywhere he went. Domestically he traveled to Hawaii, San Francisco, New York, Chicago and the Florida Keys. Funeral Information There will be a gathering from 6-8 PM, Aug. 19, 2016, at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
