Phil Knight VERSAILLES- Phil Knight, 59, husband of Evie Polin Knight, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012. A native of Versailles, he was born on March 4, 1953 to Flora Knight of Millville and the late Francis Knight. Phil was a retired Police Officer for the Versailles and Woodford County Police Department. After retiring, he was the owner of Phil Knight Painting. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Sarah (Steve) Kennedy Pazienza, Louisville; his son, Jay (Tish) Kennedy, Lousivlle; his brothers, Eddie (Charlene) Knight, Millville and Barry (Brenda) Knight, Versailles; his grandchildren, Jack, Ella and Mia Kennedy and Evelyn, Clarah and Cheytan Pazienza. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be 10am Monday at St. Leo Catholic Church with Father Danny Schwendeman and Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow Versailles Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be David P. Clark, Daniel E. Clark, Hal Roberts, Jed Wiley, Loren Carl and Karen DiRiamo. Honorary casketbearers will be his nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm until 8pm at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill.
