Wayne Glover

Wayne Glover, age 69 of Kingsport, entered into the glories of Heaven on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Wayne was born on July 23, 1952 in Sullivan County, TN to John and Catherine Glover. On September 16, 1978 Wayne married his best friend and love of his life, Pam Bleakmore, and after 43 years of a beautiful life together and raising a family, she survives. If there ever was a true Tennessee Vol’s fan, it has to be Wayne. Wayne loved his Tennessee Vols, and everything that had to do with Tennessee sports. Wayne enjoyed playing softball and spending precious time with his family. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and two grandchildren, Leland Woomer, and Thomas Glover. Left to cherish Wayne’s memory are his wife, Pam Glover; four sons, Tim Glover, Dwayne Glover and wife Carla, Kenneth Barger and wife Crystal, and Keith Barger and wife Amanda; two daughters, Missy Buchanan and husband Travis, and Michelle Glover Woomer; one sister, Louise Adkins; 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with pastors Paul Wright and Jason Wright officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at Goodman Cemetery in Piney Flats. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Glover, Devyn Barger, Tyler Woomer and Joseph Johnson. The cemetery is located on Goodman Cemetery Road in Piney Flats. Those wishing to attend the graveside service, we will be meeting at the cemetery at 10:50 am. Carter Trent Funeral Home Kingsport is serving the Glover family.
