Carol Baker
March 8th, 1954 - July 28th, 2011
Carol Jean Baker went home to be with the Lord Thursday July 28th at her home in Brighton CO, after a brave battle with cancer. Carol was born March 8, 1954 to Frederick P Secrist and Margaret L (Harrah) Secrist in Haxtun, CO. Carol graduated from Holyoke High School in 1972 . She obtained her Cosmetology license at Northeastern Junior College, Sterling in 1974. Carol worked for the United States Postal Service 27 1/2 years in Holyoke CO, Brighton CO and Denver, C. Most recently Carol was a supervisor for First Transit. Left for now to mourn her passing are her two daughters Courtney Brianne Clifford, Brighton and Felicia Carlene (Grundman) Cecil, Sterling Co, her mother Margaret (Wayne) Gibbs of Haxtun Co. her brothers and sisters John (Kathy) Secrist, Brighton, Co, Sharlyn (Richard) Brown, Loveland Co, Judy (John) Antone, St Louis, Mo and Frederick Secrist, Holyoke, Co. Also mourning are grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held Wednesday August 3, at 10:30 AM at the Worship Center at Brighton, 14650 Chambers Road Brighton Co. 80601. Posted by All-States Cremation.
