Donna Hopper

Donna Michele Hopper passed away on May 11th, 2018 at Pearl Street Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 53. The memorial service will be held on June 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at 1520 Argonne Street Aurora, CO 80011. Pastor Setan Lee of TransformAsia will be officiating. Michele was born February 24, 1965 in Independence, Missouri to Billy Gene Burchett and Leeta Ruth Todd. She attended school in both Raytown, MO and Burden, KS; but she received her GED in Mobile, AL in 1985 and went on to become a beautician at Charles Academy of Beauty in Mobile, AL, graduated in 1985. Michele was married to Richard Allen Hopper on September 28, 1991 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado; they were married 20 years before they divorced in 2012. Michele was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005 and lived the last 4 years of her life in a nursing home. She spent the remaining time of her life loving and spending as much time as she could with her children & grandchildren via phone or in person. She didn’t fear death; she feared not being there to see her grandchildren grow up. She had 2 daughters and 7 grandchildren. Michele is preceded in death by her grandson Ardan Breen, younger brother Brian Huisenga, step-father Arnold Huisenga and fiancé George Marsales. Michele is survived by her daughters Cassandra Chhoeun, (Paul Chhoeun), and Nicole Breen, (Tim Breen), her sister Jennifer Mack, (Jeremy Mack), brothers Doug Burchett, Jeremy Burchett and Terry Huisenga, father Bill Burchett, step-mother Dorothy Burchett and mother Leeta Huisenga, grandchildren Kira Ho, Alexis Chhoeun, Lilyan Chhoeun, Peyton Chhoeun, Karizma Breen, Domenik Breen and Brayden Breen.
