Michael "Tony" Anthony Halterman

Michael “Tony” Anthony Halterman, age 34 of Kingsport, entered into eternity on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Tony was born on February 13, 1989 in Kingsport, TN to Michael and Kathy Halterman. Tony worked as a HVAC mechanic and he was dedicated to his trade. Tony loved animals, playing video games and listening to music. In this fast paced world that we live in, he found peace in spending his time, and hanging out, with his buddy, Dinkus. Tony is survived by his mother, Kathy Rutledge; father, Michael Grant Halterman; sisters, Shannon Rutledge, and Ashley Halterman (Stephen); many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends; and his cat, Dinkus. There will be a celebration of Tony’s life held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. There will be a graveside service on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Poteet Family Cemetery in Jonesville, VA with Pastor Richard Davis officiating. Carter Trent Funeral Home Kingsport is serving the Halterman family.
