Ronald Edward Williams

Ronald E. Williams of Bristol, TN passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center under the care of Hospice. Ron graduated from Chilhowie High School, was in the Army Reserves, and received an associates degree in Drafting. He spent the majority of his career as a car salesman for Chevrolet. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to football games, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Williams; parents, Harold and Rosalie Williams; brother, Randy Williams; and sister, Rosanne Williams. He is survived by his son, Travis Williams and wife Liz; grandsons Carson and Camden Williams; daughter, Leah Alfino; sister, Regenia Hayden and husband Eddie; sister-in-law, Barbara Williams; several nieces and nephews and their children, Jason Hayden (Katie), Tyler Hayden (Lyndsey), Connor Hayden, Kim Ray (Kevin), Jill Beck (Bill); along with a few lifelong friends and neighbors, Gary Craig, Hector Heath, Marshall Powers, and Les and Jan Vannoy. The memorial and entombment service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Glenwood Cemetery Chapel in Bristol, TN. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50am. The family would like to thank Ballad Health Hospice, the staff at Franklin Woods Community Hospital and Johnson City Medical Center for the loving care given to Ron.
