Winchester, Kentucky Winchester-Robin Edgar Featherston, 66, of Winchester, Kentucky, died on May 27, 2014. He was born November 19, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While he was in elementary school, his family returned to their hometown, Lexington, Kentucky, where many generations of the family has resided. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Edgar Featherston, his mother, Eleanor Caroline Arnett Featherston, and his older brothers, Robert Edgar Featherston, Jr., and Richard Duff Goodykoontz. He is survived by his wife, Carol Kay Featherston of Winchester, his daughter Kristine Thompson, son-in-law, Edward Thompson, grandchildren, Chase and Lindsay Thompson of London, Kentucky, and brothers, Daniel B. Featherston and E. Lancelot Featherston of Lexington. Robin was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired owner of businesses in Richmond and Winchester, Kentucky, including an automobile dealership. Funeral Information A graveside service will be held by Father Brian Cole, Rector of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at 12:30 pm, Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Lexington Cemetery.
