Carter-Trent Funeral Homes - Kingsport
Mary Nell Williams
December 5th, 1934 - March 14th, 2024
Mary Nell Williams, age 89, went to be with the Lord and her family on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Mary Nell was born in Derby, VA on December 5, 1934; she moved to Kingsport in 1946. Mary Nell graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School, and she worked at Holston Valley Medical Center for 30 years. Mary Nell loved the Tennessee Vols, The Voice, red roses and her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Conner Smith and Ella Blair; husband, John Williams; son, Johnny Williams; and several brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish Mary Nell’s memory are her daughter, Deborah; granddaughters, Tiffany (Matt), Summer (Tom), and Chelsey (Anthony); great grandchildren, Braxton, Brayden, and Luke; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank JCMC for their loving care. We would like to also thank the ones who helped during this time: Penny, Wanda, and David. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, with Tom Githens officiating. Carter Trent Funeral Home Kingsport is serving the Williams family.
