Obituary Carl Duncan Bottom, 85, of Frankfort, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012. He was born on May 1, 1927 in Mackville, KY, to the late Marshall D. and Mildred Shewmaker Bottom. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Von Bottom; his daughter, Christy (Louis, Jr.) Tandy; son, Gary Bottom; and four grandchildren, Chris Sheetinger, Jeremy Sheetinger, Ramsy Tandy, Seiver Tandy. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carlene Sheetinger. Funeral Information Funeral service is 10am Friday, July 27, 2012 at East Frankfort Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Chris Sheetinger, Jeremy Sheetinger, Seiver Tandy, Kerry Salyers, Bob Demaree and Ken Owen. Honorary casketbearers will be East Frankfort Baptist Sanctuary Sunday School Class, Rose Steward, Mark and Terry Baker, Carla Salyers, Irma Jean Rutledge, Freddie Morrow, Ann Abell, Anne Vansant, Barbara and Louis Tandy, Susan Herron, Teresa Demaree, Rusty Morse, Bill Hendren, Jeanie Warner, Bobby Gosser, and Bob Coots. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm until 7pm at the church. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
