Winchester, KY Robert "Bob" McFarland, 79, died July 7, 2016. He survived by his wife Shirley (Bowman) McFarland; daughters Sharon (Stan) Davis and Valerie (Bill) Freeman; sons Robert (Harlena) McFarland and Mark (Cindy) McFarland; sisters Judy Adams, Linda (Tony) Layne and Peggy (Bennie) Dunn; grandchildren Christy, Mandy, Brittany, Garrett, McKenzie, Will, Ella, Melissa and Aaron and great grandchildren Elin, Caleb, Casey, Shelby, Gentry and Olivia. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilse and Anna (McKinney) McFarland and brother-in-law Bobbie Adams. Bob retired a Lt. with the Lexington Fire Department and was member of High Point Apostolic Church. He loved to restore and collect classic cars, and attended car show regularly. In his younger years, he loved to hunt and fish. Bob was a devoted family man who would work 2 jobs to support his family. Funeral Information There will be a visitation from 5-7 PM, July 12, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing followed by a funeral service at 7 PM.
