EDDIE JOHNSON Mt. Carmel- Edward (Eddie) Lee Johnson, 44, of Mount Carmel, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday (September 2, 2018). He was a lifelong resident of this area and was a truck driver for many years. Eddie loved to ride motorcycles and to work on cars. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Wesley Johnson; maternal grandparents, Joe and Jean Cox; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Susie Johnson. Eddie Johsnon is survived by his children, Jesse Dylan Johnson, Dystin Lee Johnson, and Joseph Jack Johnson; step-children, Harley, Brittany, Sarah, Shane, and Ruby; his father, Walter Johnson and wife, CIindy; mother, Kathy Ann Johnson; mother of his youngest son and step-children, Amanda Smith along with special aunts, uncles, and cousins. Receving of friends will be held on Wednesday (September 5, 2018) from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday (September 5, 2018) at 1p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Hill, officiating. A graveside service will follow the funeral at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Dylan Johnson, Dystin Johnson, Eddie Thomas, Dale Richardson, Chris Davis, and Zack Byron serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Tester, Danny Goodman, Travis Dykes, Steve Matlock, and Ken Sargent.
