June 18th, 1947 - May 19th, 2020
Kingsport – Helen Marie Good, 72 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a Christian, enjoyed going to church and will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Good; parents, Gale and Francis Hilton Fields; grandson, Joseph Hite; sons-in-law, Shannon Watkins and Joe Hite. Helen is survived by her daughters, Cindy Sanders (Nick Wilson), Susan Watkins and Sherrie Gilreath (Johnny Ray); son, William Good; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Teresa Cavin; brothers, Larry Fields, Wayne Fields and Terry Fields; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Earl Light. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastor Margaret Price officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the daughter, Cindy Sanders, 2880 Main Street, Lot #19, Surgoinsville, TN 37873. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Good family.
