Online Obituaries for Versailles KY VersaillesGary D. Coffey, 62, husband of Dena McClain Coffey, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017. He was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky, on October 24, 1954 to Frances Louise Coffey and the late Donald Coffey. Mr. Coffey was a retired HVAC technician for the Woodford County Board of Education. He was a member of Glens Creek Baptist Church and retired Assistant Chief of the Versailles Fire Department. In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by his son, Donald Matthew Coffey, Versailles; his grandson and the light of his life, Alexander Donald Coffey; and his sisters, Donna (Ralph) Canter, Versailles, Rita (Leonard) Hatter, Lawrenceburg, and Sharon Coffey (Steve) Creech, Shelbyville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Sue Coffey. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, officiated by Rev. Jody Short and Rev. John Brandon. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Dewey Eaves, Terry Eaves, Eugene McClain, Don Koontz, Ricky Summers, Darrel Rollins, Sherman Green, and Alex Cheek. Visitation will be 5:00 PM 8:00 PM Monday, April 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
