Donna Lynn Russell

Rogersville – Donna Lynn Blankenship Russell, 58 of Rogersville passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Laurel, Maryland and had been a resident of Rogersville for the last 26 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Donna never met a stranger and enjoyed watching UT football, the Baltimore Ravens and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Laura Blankenship; sister, Linda Blankenship; brothers, Joe and Bobby Blankenship; special nephew, Kyle Ferguson. Donna is survived by her daughters, Laura Blankenship Dabbs and Leah Blankenship Burch; grandchildren, Halie Lynn Blankenship and Kiara Hope Blankenship; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Mary Blankenship; niece, Sandy Ferguson and several other nieces and nephews; the father of her children, John Burch and her fur babies, Harper, Addie and Puddin. There will be a celebration of Donna’s life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org.
