Lexington, KY Kathryne LeAnn Nyland, 51, died September 2, 2016. She is survived by her husband Gregg Allen Nyland; daughter Shawna Lee Cornett of Lexington; son Lance Christopher Cornett of Linefork, KY; father Bill Creech of Lexington; mother Kathryne L. (David) Taylor of Corbin, KY; brothers Wayne T. (Teresa) Creech of Cumberland Gap, TN, Craig (Yvonne) Creech of Frankfort, KY and E.D. Sonny (Cathy) Creech of Linefork, KY and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Michael Allen Creech, paternal grandparents Hillery and Pauline Creech and maternal grandparents Ben and Pansy Stivers. LeAnn LOVED life!! She attacked every day with a fight, determination. She had a wonderful sense of humor. As an adult mother of two, she went to college. She cared for her daughter, Shawna Cornett, who has a disability, through the absolute hardest of times for any parent. She LOVED her son, Lance Cornett and could rarely talk about how proud she was of him without tearing up. Her family was so important to her! She cared for her brother in her home from start to finish through his battle with cancer. She was STUBBORN! She cried when she was angry, but soon would laugh. She loved her twin, Sonny. The relationship she had with her dad was very rare and special. Her mom was where she got her strength. She carried herself proud and proper. At LeAnn's bedside, you would have seen a resilience that was rare to see in a person. LeAnn didn't build a relationship with someone unless she intended it to last. She still called her step-daughters, HM Noffsinger and Melissa Bock 'daughters', and said she had 4 kids. If a relationship is important enough to build, then it's important enough to keep. She made people feel like they were the center of her world. She didn't recognize such thing as a stranger. When you think about how much she lived in each day, youd realize she lived more in her 51 years, than most people do in 80. God was ready for her, and she loved God. Go Rest High On That Mountain. Funeral Information There will be a Celebration of LeAnn's Life, from 1-3 PM,, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at The American Legeon, Post 341 on Leestown Road, Lexington, KY
