Lexington, Kentucky - Marian Katz Jonas, 89, passed away Tuesday April 25th, 2017 at her home. She was born in Akron, Ohio on December 2, 1927 to the late Nathan and Rose Katz. Survivors include her son, Bruce Jonas, of Lexington, brothers, Morris Katz and Leo Katz, both of Florida, grandson, Adam (Ashley) Jonas, of Virginia and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jonas, sons, Craig Jonas and Merill Jonas, sister, Ruth Katz, brothers, Max Katz, Isadore Katz, and Joseph Katz. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Thursday April 27, 2017 at 12:00 PM, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing led by Rabbi Moshe Smolkin. Burial will follow in The Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 until 12:00.
