He was born in Martin, Kentucky, son of the late Elhanon Pete and Marena Hayes Grigsby. He was a retired Delta Air Line Ticket Agent and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Tates Creek Road. Surviving are his two daughters; Rebecca Annette {Allen} Richardson, Julia Ann Grigsby all of Lexington, his son; Stephen Jan {Lauren} Grigsby, Jr., Mobile, Alabama, his two sisters; Marena Ann Grigsby Evans and Margaret Lynn Grigsby Hamilton, his three brothers; E. P. Grigsby, Jr., Jerry Roger Grigsby and Richard Van Grigsby, and his four grandchildren; Kara Charmaine Hill, Lauren Ariel Hill, Morgan Marie Grigsby and Emily Grace Grigsby. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers; David Lee Grigsby and Charles G. Grigsby, M.D. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Tates Creek Road. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Casketbearers will be Hugh Grigsby, John Grigsby, Stephen Jan Grigsby, Jr., Allen Richardson, McKay Reynolds and Sam Thomas. Honorary casketbearers will be Pete Grigsby, Jr., Jerry R.
