Online Obituaries for Versailles KY Versailles - Leslie Spencer, 68, husband of Faye Spencer, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. He was a native of Versailles, Kentucky, born on December 9, 1946, to the late Charles and Lida Duncan Spencer. Mr. Spencer was a farmer and a member of the Revival Tabernacle. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Robbie (Joyce) Spencer, Owenton, KY and Scott ( Diane) Spencer, Versailles, KY, sister, Pat Jackson, Georgetown, KY, brothers William (Janie) Spencer, Versailles, KY, Byron (Julia) Spencer, VA, and Stacy (Martie) Spencer, Georgetown, KY; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Spencer was preceded in death by five sisters. Funeral Information Funeral service will be 1PM Friday at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, officiated by Brother Gene Young. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Robbie Spencer, Scott Spencer, Tommy Greathouse, Joe Greathouse, Daniel Gadwaw, Tim Spencer and Stacy Spencer. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Thursday at the funeral home.
