Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Drane, Richard A. "Dick", 68, widower of Anita Carol McGee Drane, passed away Monday April 13, 2015. Born on February 28, 1947 in Anchorage, KY to the late MacDonald and Florence Whitfield Drane. Richard was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Millville Baptist Church, and was the former owner of Clifton Boat Dock and Grocery. He is survived by his sons Eric Hundley (Autumn) Drane, of Versailles; Charles Whitfield (Amy Marshall) Drane, of CA; his step daughters LeAundra Clark, of Harrodsburg; Reamonna Mattingly, of Harrodsburg; his sister Gordon Derr, of MI; as well as 9 grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife and parents Richard was preceded in death by his brother MacDonald Drane II. Funeral Information A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday April 25, 2015 at Millville Baptist Church. Officiated by Reverend Jeff Douglas. A reception in his honor will follow service until 2:00pm.
