Obituary Celestine Soard, 85, of Lexington, the widow of William "Bill" Soard, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009. She was born December 6, 1924, in Versailles, KY, to the late Edna Rarden and John W. King. Celestine had been a member of South Elkhorn Baptist Church for 56 years. She is survived by her daughter, Celeste Donice (Robert) Scott, Lexington; her son, Glenn Ray (Sally) Soard, Lexington; 6 grandchildren, Alekzander Scott, Jessika Scott, Steve (Kelli) Soard, Scott (Emily) Soard, Jeff (Mindy) Soard, Cindy (Bill) Fife; and 10 great grandchildren, Addison, Brayden, Maddie, Mia, Will, Bailey, Kelsey, Eli, Abby and Casey. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Marie Soard, and son, Gregory Dean Soard. Funeral Information Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Friday, Jan 1 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, followed by a funeral service at 7 pm, officiated by Dr. Damon Jones. Burial will be 10 am, Sat, Jan 2 at Versailles Cemetery. Casketbearers are Robert Scott, Ray Soard, Alek Scott, Steve Soard, Scott Soard and Jeff Soard.
