John Emmet Cawley
December 8th, 1910 - February 18th, 2009
John was born in Rose Creek, MN on Dec. 8, 1910, the third of nine children of James and Catherine Cawley. He was a career US Navy man, enlisting during WWII and retiring as Senior Chief. He had a second career as a metalsmith at the UW. John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances, and three sisters, Margaret Quale, Louise Brown and Lacena Regan, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 6511 176th St. SW, Lynnwood, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Thomas More Building Fund.
