A native of Nicholasville, Kentucky, he was born February 12, 1950 to the late Stewart P. Johns, Sr. and Willetta Chapman Hager. Among his friends, Stewart was known as The Legend, loving life and living it the way he wanted to, playing poker and drinking Bud Light. In addition to his wife, Sheila Johns, Stewart is survived by his daughter, Whitney (Craig) Yonke, New Port Richey, FL; brother, June Edward (Sue) Johns, Nicholasville; brother-in-law, Darrell Keith, Nicholasville; grandchildren, Tyler and Mason Webb; aunt, Glodene Hager, Nicholasville; cousin, Mac Hager, Nicholasville; very special buddies, Juan Davis and James Roy Hager both of Nicholasville; and all of his poker buddies. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step father William Hager. Funeral Information A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 5:00p-7:00p, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
