Online Obituaries for Frankfort, KY Frankfort Elizabeth Ann Libby Hippe Graham, 82, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. A native of Frankfort, she was born April 24, 1934 to the late Ernest Woodrow and Lillian Gordon Hippe. Wife of the late Howard Lee Graham. Libby was very proud of many accomplishments including Elkhorn High School Class Valedictorian, working with Gov. Happy Chandler, serving as president of the Frankfort Younger Womans Club, being a freelance court reporter and the awards received competing in horse shows. Libby loved to cook, especially on the Holidays. She loved traveling, sewing, training horses, working with children through 4H, and was an avid reader. At 60 years of age, Libby became a master scuba diver. She loved and enjoyed her family and friends leaving many paths to follow. Clearly she was full of spunk and adventure. In addition to her love for life, was her love for the Lord, as a founding member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and later attended Immanuel Baptist Church. Libby is survived by a daughter Tammy Carwein, Frankfort, son Will (Lee Anne Tipton) Graham, Frankfort, sister Candace Hippe Sacre, Frankfort, and her grandchildren Chad Gregory Carwein, Greenville, NC, Avery Noelle Graham, Frankfort, and Anslee Harmon Graham, Frankfort and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 59 years, she was proceeded in death by her brother Norman Douglas Hippe. Funeral Information A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Clark Legacy Center, Frankfort. A small service will be held at 6:30pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions or donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association or Bradford Square Nursing Home. www.clarklegacycenter.com
