Obituary Lexington - Aileen Craig Andrews Snowden, 91, left this earth on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 to join her beloved husband, James Edward Snowden. She was born in Sweetwater, TN on July 18th, 1921 to the late Frank Aileen Hicks and Jack Prichard Andrews. She grew up in Winchester, KY where she graduated from Winchester High School and attended Kentucky Wesleyan. Aileen was a lifelong supporter and graduate of the University of Kentucky. She had been a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Winchester and an active volunteer for various community services. She was a dedicated friend and beloved by those lucky enough to have her touch their lives. She is survived by her three children, Elizabeth Snowden (Andrew) Winfrey, Martha Craig Snowden, and Franklin Hicks (Joni) Snowden, six grandchildren, James Thomas (Jaime)Kenney, Jennifer Kenney (Conor) McAmis, Patrick Michael (Sherry) Kenney, Stephen Andrews Fowler, David Vaughn Fowler, Alina Alexandra Snowden, and 4 great grandchildren, Evan, Carter, Miles and Max Kenney. The family is celebrating her life in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Sayre Christian Village, Hospice of the Bluegrass, First Presbyterian Church of Winchester, or a charity of your choice. www.clarklegacycenter.com Funeral Information A private family celebration will be held.
