Obituary Frankfort- Ruth Miller Carpenter, 68, wife of Wendell Carpenter, died Saturday, July, 13, 2013. Mrs. Carpenter was born on December 9, 1944 to the late Woodrow and Birdie Hicks Miller in Laurel County, KY. She was a retired employee of Union Underwear and a member of Providence Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Mark) Mayes, Bloomfield and Ashley (John) Hellard, Frankfort; her sons, Gary (Effie) Carpenter, Jerry (Leanne) Carpenter, and Donnie (Teresa) Carpenter, all of Frankfort; her sisters, Hallie Lewis, Porcia Bowling and Barbara Lewis, all of East Bernstadt; her brother, Taylor Miller, East Bernstadt; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Wilson Miller. Funeral Information Funeral Service will be 1pm Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Brother Dave Rayborn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be John Hellard, Mark Mayes, Bobby Ridgeway, Bailey Hudson, Aaron Christy and Timothy Wiley. Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
