July 5th, 1934 - March 27th, 2014
Lexington, KY William A. "Billy" Jett, 79, died March 27, 2014. He is survived by his wife Betty Ann (Brierly) Jett; daughters Vickie (David) Cole, Debbie (Jeff) Isaacs and Teresa (Brian) Barker; grandchildren Sarah (Steven) Smith, Rachel (Joe Robinson) Cole, Tyler Isaacs, Grace Isaacs, Brendan Barker, Nathan Barker and Carson Barker and great-granddaughter Ava Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents William Hester Jett and Christiane (Overbey) Jett. Billy loved people, and they loved him. Even the Hospice nurses wept at his passing. In addition to his service with the United States Marine, Billy served Mt. Olivet Masonic Lodge, #291, and as a Deacon at Tate's Creek Christian Church. He was will known for his wood-working skills, taking pride in his toy boxes for the grandchildren. He also loved to travel and a good game of Domino's. Billy will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Information Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2014, from 5-8 PM at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. Service is Monday at 11 AM.
