Douglas Lee Ammons
January 23rd, 1933 - May 11th, 2009
Died on May 11, 2009 in Lynnwood, Washington. He was born January 23, 1933 in Sedro Woolley. Doug grew up in the BigLake area in SkagitCounty. He retired from the Everett Parks Department. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn; their three daughters: Linda (Dave) Larner, Shirley (Doug) Frazier, and Julie (David) Gowan; four granddaughters: Angela Lunde, Gena Hanko, Katie Frazier, and Bonnie Ammons; as well as a great granddaughter, Stella Hanko; and brother Richard Ammons of Vt. Vernon. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Becks Garden Chapel, 405 Fifth Ave. S, Edmonds, with a recn following at EdmondsConferenceCenter.
