Online Obituaries for Nicholasville Lillie Etta Dotson, 85, widow of Ransom Roosevelt Dotson, Jr., died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Hospice Care Center. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of the late Rev. Raymond Edward and Evalena Wadlow Worley. She was a graduate of St. Marys School of Nursing in Huntington, West Virginia and she had been a Registered Nurse with the Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, Kentucky and she was a member of the Man O War Church of God. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Ann {Byron} Revel, Nicholasville; son, Ransom Edward {Sally} Dotson, Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Wilma {Dallas} Moore, Huntington, West Virginia; Inez {A.L.} Perkins, Lexington; and Brenda Kennedy, Corbin, six grandchildren, Anna Marie {Devin} Revel, Marsha Naomi {Tim} Kerdolff, Christian Nicole Dotson, Seth Collier Dotson, Kara Renee {Kevin} Jarzynski and Roxanne Jo {Jordan} McCool, and one great grandchild, John Russell Kerdolff, brother-in-law, Merril Spurlock, Lexington, sister-in-law, Shirley Worley, Erlanger. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Spurlock, a brother, Walter Worley and a grandson, Jonathan Webster. Funeral Information Her visitation will be 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing followed by her funeral service at 4:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Dr. Derwood Perkins. Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Dotson Family Cemetery at Ransom, Kentucky.
