Mary Jean Smith
June 19th, 1947 - October 22nd, 2014
Lexington, Kentucky Mary Jean Fudold Smith of Lexington, Ky., passed into eternal life at age 67 on October 22, 2014. Jeannie was born in Detroit, MI. of parents Charles and Mary Fudold. Her adult life was spent in the Bluegrass. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1971, she worked successively for Sears, U. of K. and Christ United Methodist Church in Lexington. She was also an internet merchandiser. Jean was the widow of Gary L. Smith. She leaves to treasure her memory, Thomas [Joan] Fudold and Wallace A. Fudold, brothers. In addition she leaves three nephews, two nieces, a host of cousins and a plethora of dear friends. She is also survived by her beloved Pomeranian, Rusty. Funeral Information A Mass in Celebration of her life will be held at Pax Christi Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. Jean's ashes will be placed in the Church Peace Garden Columbarium.
