James "Mike" Magee

Obituary James "Mike" Magee, 66, of Lexington, Kentucky and the husband of Frances Magee, died Friday, June 1, 2012. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on March 21, 1946, to the late James O. Magee and Virginia McCarthy Magee. Mike participated in many organizations including The Sierra Club, Knights of Columbus, The Lexington Bowling Association, The American Legion, The Moose Lodge, The Boy Scouts of America and the Kentucky Colonel's. He was an avid golfer and always ready for a tailgate party for The University of Kentucky. In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Heath) Jennings; son, James Robert (Charlene) Magee; two brothers, Tim Magee and Dan (Lynette) Magee; sisters, Pattie (Anita) Magee, Mary Cool and Peggy Magee; and 4 grandchildren, Morgan Magee, Sydney and Nicholas Jennings and Chaz Clifford. Funeral Information A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 5-8 PM, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
