Lexington, KY Rita Kay Barnes, 49, died February 3, 2017. She is survived by her father Lewis Gill; daughter Kayla (Jose Angel) Hernandez; son Timothy Fields; stepdaughters Mary Barnes and Latosha Moatts; stepsons Jeremih Barnes and Steven Barnes; 2 sisters; grandchildren Araya, Julian, Dalia, Emilio, Venessa, Dustin, Victorina, Emma, Miguel, Giovanni, Sebastan and Amaiha. She is preceded in death by her mother Verna (Currens) Stokley and 1 sister. Rita was a family oriented person who loved spending time cooking macaroni sandwiches, chili and spaghetti for her family, or just hanging out with them. She also loved her friend at Pizza Hutthey were more than coworkers, they were family. Funeral Information There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 11 AM to 1 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing.
