Paris, Kentucky Paul Elliot Jenkins age 33 (Paris, Kentucky), loving father, husband, son, and brother, passed-away suddenly on December 18, 2016. He leaves behind his wife Elizabeth, and two beautiful children, Katherine (age 6) and Nicholas (age 2). He was the son of Steven and LeAnn Jenkins (Lexington), three siblings: Eichelle (Aaron) Rowsell, North Salt Lake City, Utah; Adam (Jamie) Jenkins, Clarkston, Michigan; and Olivia (Andrew) Balzer, Lancaster, Kentucky; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Paul was preceded in-death by his loving grandfather-in-law Cleat Douglas, who treated him as his own grandson. Paul was born and spent his childhood in Utah where he explored the canyons and parks throughout the West. Willingly making the move to Kentucky as a senior in high school he continued those pursuits. He had a broad range of interests including: camping, hiking, technology, history, science, politics, and travel. He was a passionate gamer and known affectionately as Mr. Popov to those who played with him on a regular basis. Having fought a long, courageous battle with clinical depression, he has found peace and comfort in the loving arms of family who preceded him. Now the fight is over, his ashes will be shared among family. Paul will be remembered for his great dry-humor, spontaneity, and willingness to help anyone. Family and friends struggle to accept the loss of this great man, but commit ourselves to ensure his children remember him, as they were his greatest love. Funeral Information Services to be held: Friday, December 23, Oasis Community Church, 5049 Ashgrove Rd., Nicholasville, KY Visitation 5:00 pm; Memorial Service 6:00 pm.
