Suzanne Dee Baker MenningPassed away Saturday, March 20, 2010. Born Jan. 24, 1925 in Kansas City, MO, one of three daughters of John Grace Baker. Sue grew up in Kansas City was wed to Ralph H. Menning Feb. 15, 1949. The couple moved to Seattle in 1956 settled in Edmonds in 1966, after a 2-year stay in New Orleans.Sue was a charter member of the M.I. Hummel Club, past president of the local chapter, the Seattle-Puget Sound MIHC. She was also past president of the Seattle Carkeek Park Garden Clubs, recipient of several Member of the Year awards.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Shirley Garner. She is survived by her sister, Doris Gish (Colvin) of Lees Summit, MO, as well as several nephews, nieces cousins on the Pacific Coast in the middle west.There will no services at her request. Remembrances may be given to your favorite charity.
