Lexington, Kentucky Edith Ann S. Smith, 77, widow of Reuben Smith, Sr., died Monday, October 7, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late George Lee and Delia Katherine Carey Simpson. She was a retired accountant with Sallee Horse Vans and Verizon. She is survived by her daughter, Kelley (Kenneth) Douglas, Lawrenceburg; son, Reuben "Paco" Smith, Jr., Lexington; sister, Mary (John) Webb, Lexington; brother, Billy (Millie) Simpson, Atlanta, Georgia; daughter in law, Regina Smith, Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Alexandra (Ryan) Rumsey, Carbondale, Illinois, Barton Smith, Lexington, Stephen Christopher Smith, Lexington and Tim Douglas of Lawrenceburg, 2 special people who were like grandchildren, Jesse Campbell and Michael Wells. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Terry Keith Smith and William Stephen Smith. Funeral Information A celebration of life will be held at 11am, Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
