Katherine Chic Olsen

Born on July 28, 1911 in Wibaux, Montana to Louis and Bertha Lindner and died May 29, 2010 in Everett, Washington, shortly before of her 99th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck and her 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her only son Phillip (Denise), 2 grandchildren, Christine (Chris Waldemer) and William (Sarah) and 6 great grandchildren: Jarett, Dominick, Jacen, Luke, Kaylyn and Stephen and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Chic graduated from Everett High School in 1928 and lived in Snohomish County nearly all of her life. After her marriage to Chuck and some adventures in Alaska, they moved to Lynnwood and built a home during WWII. Chic was a baseball fan and loved watching the Seattle Mariners. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed her backyard parties at her south Everett home. She loved her family and friends, especially spending time with them. Chic was a storehouse of memories and loved to reminisce of old times. We will miss her.A Visitation will be held from 9:30am to 11am with a Funeral beginning at 11am on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Becks Garden Chapel, 405 Fifth Ave. S in Edmonds, with recn following; concluding with a Committal Service at Restlawn Memorial Park in Edmonds, WA.
