John was a member of Andover Baptist and had served in the USAF during the Viet Nam War. He loved to fish, especially when he had a house on Lake Harrington. Vacationing in Florida were some of his favorite times, or anywhere else that he could drive to. He was a very loveable man, who would stop and help any stranded motorist, even if the repairs came out of his own pocket. His family claims that he could drive anything with a motor in it...and if it broke down, he could fix it. John was always ready to offer advice, but it was mostly, "Talk to your God about it". He will be missed by all. Funeral Information There will be a visitation from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, August 26, with the service following at 7PM. Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetery, at 2 PM, August 27, 2014.
