Versailles Goldie Rose Reed, 78, widow of J.B. Reed, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born in Powell County, KY to the late Will and Tilda Sons Watkins on August 8, 1936. Mrs. Reed worked in Housekeeping for the Woodford Hospital. She is survived by her children, Mary Coventry, Versailles, Ruby Hilton, Versailles, Raymond Reed, CA, J.C. Reed, Versailles, Brenda Hancock, Versailles, Roseann Lawson, OH, Herbert Reed, Versailles and Evelyn Tharp, Richmond; 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral Service will be 1pm Saturday, October 25 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be A.J. Reed, Thomas Hilton, Brandon Reed, Chris Reed, Eugene Reed and Lawrence Buckland. Visitation will be Friday, October 24 from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
