Versailles, KY Kenneth H. Goodlett, age 90, beloved husband of 70 years to Golden Renfro Goodlett, hero to daughter, Sharon Goodlett (Jimmy) Sloan, the king and life teacher to grandchildren, Scott (Anna) Goodlett, Rebecca Sloan (Darren) Valentine, Emily Sloan (Brandin) Johnson and Stephen (Dayne) Goodlett, along with ten great grandchildren, left his earthly home to enter into his Heavenly home Friday, June 30, 2017, where he joins his sons, Michael (Linda) Goodlett and Bruce Goodlett and his grandson, Darren Sloan. Kenneth was born in Anderson County December 30, 1926 to Alpha Drury Goodlett and Frank Goodlett. He is survived by siblings Harold, Brenda, Rachel and David Goodlett. Siblings who preceded him in death are William, Paul, James, Imogene, Frank and Donnie Goodlett. He was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. He was a veteran and served in the Navy during World War II. He was a self-made man who worked many different jobs in his early marriage to provide for his family. Later, he was Maintenance foreman at Square D Company and retired from there in 1986. In 1950 he and his wife constructed their own home where he lived until his death. He was an avid boater and camper who enjoyed weekends with the ones who were most important to him...his family. Funeral Information Visitation will be Monday, July 3, at Clark Legacy Center, Rose Hill, Versailles from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with funeral services at 1 o'clock. Reverend Joseph S.
