A native of Lexington, Kentucky, she was born June 10, 1965 to Wayne Smith and the late Deanna Lowery Gordon. Sherry was a natural caretaker, caring for members of her family and friends alike; she was always ready to lend a hand. She enjoyed cooking, music, and dancing, but loved the outdoors. Camping, fishing, and hiking were some of her favorite activities. In addition to her father, Wayne Smith, she is survived by her children, Stephanie Nicki Milton, Nicholasville and Jacob Barker, Lexington; sisters, Michelle Duvall, OH and Frances Hedden, Nicholasville; brothers, David Smith, Lexington, Phil Smith, OH, Quick Gordon, Harrodsburg, and Shane Gordon, Winchester; and her grandchildren, Kyleigh George and Raylen George. Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Deanna Lowery Gordon, and a brother, Randy Smith. Funeral Information A Celebration of Sherrys Life will be planned at a later date.
